Never underestimate the power of women connecting and supporting each other. For eons, women have been known to be each other’s enemy; it seems normal to compete and be jealous of one another. Validating those negative emotions and not letting them dictate our relationships is the true meaning of support. Every woman’s hidden desire is to stretch a helping hand to another woman’s direction. A woman alone has power, but collectively we have impact.

Through the Support Her pillar, we will hold round-table discussions on specific life issues raised by the members, celebrate achievements, career and business showers, share challenges on career and business path as well as find a sounding board.

In earlier centuries, women could not assert themselves, they were not decision makers, change agents and influencers until women empowerment came in like a breath of fresh air. Authentic women empowerment comes from self-discovery, self-awareness, personal identity, personal leadership and confidence. Our main focus is to birth these skills from within and not without. Every woman has innate empowerment skills within her and a desire to grow with others. When you empower a woman or girl you empower the nation.
Within the context of SDG goal 4 on quality education, inclusive and equitable quality education and promotion of lifelong opportunities for all will liberate the intellect, unlock the imagination and is fundamental for self-respect. It is the key to prosperity and opens a world of opportunities, making it possible for each of us to contribute to a progressive, healthy society.
Learning benefits every human being and should be available to all. In line with target 4.4 of the SDG goals, Her Circle International seeks to substantially increase the number of women who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship all in a bid to increase the number of people with relevant skills for financial success.
Through the Empower Her

It’s challenging to thrive and make the right decisions as a young woman in today’s day and age. Mostly it seems as if the odds are against us: Unfair competition in the job market, negative social media influence among others. It is the responsibility of older women to uplift, encourage, motivate, inspire, educate and raise younger women to believe in themselves and become better. Within the context of SDG goal 5, gender equality and empowering girls is not just a human right issue, it is a tremendous waste of the world’s human potential. By denying women equal rights, we deny half the population a chance to live life at its best. Political, economic and social equality for women will benefit all the world’s citizens. Together we can eradicate prejudice and work for equal rights and respect for all.

In line with target 5.5 of the SDG, Her Circle International will ensure women’s full, effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision making in the political, economic and public arena all in a bid to
fully participate in leadership and decision-making.

Through the Raise Her pillar, we will accomplish this through mentorship programs in order to pass on and propagate a cycle of greatness.
